Licensees must receive permission from the Minister for Internal Affairs and Communications when changing the person with whom radio communications is conducted, changing communication subjects or the location of radio equipment, or when intending to carry out construction work for changing radio equipment.
The following chart indicates the necessary procedures.
Insignificant changes, such as the installation of radio equipment that has been the Technical Regulations Conformity Certification, require only a submission to change particulars entered on a license.
To change particulars entered on a valid license, the licensee must indicate the changes to be made on the application form and attach relevant reference material for filing with the regional bureau of telecommunications.
Necessity of change and conformity to regulations are examined.
After examination, the licensee will be granted permission to change, if the change conforms to radio regulations.
After construction work for changing radio equipment is completed, a licensee must submit notice of completion on construction work to the regional telecommunications bureau to undergo inspections. The regional telecommunications bureau will inspect whether the construction work has been completed in accordance with the changes indicated on the application form.
Note that part of inspections may be omitted for users of the Registered Certification Agencies System.
